Linocut Printing Workshops @ Bonds Lifestyle

These day workshops are an excellent introduction to linocut printmaking, allowing you to take away techniques and methods to be able to create wonderful prints in your own home and you will find out all about the magic of printing with a spoon! Workshops are held at Bonds Lifestyle, near Stratford Upon Avon.
The day workshop is £75 per person and includes all tuition, materials, light lunch, two hot drinks and an afternoon cake.
The course fee will be refunded (or an alternative date will be arranged) if the venue is not open or if the workshops are not allowed to take place due to COVID restrictions.
Workshops will be run with social distancing in place, and face masks and/or visors will need to be worn. Hand sanitiser will be freely available within the workshop space.

Your day will start at 9.30am and finish at approximately 4.30pm. The price of the workshop includes all materials and equipment and also a delicious lunch, a morning coffee and afternoon cake.

This workshop is limited to five people per session to ensure you get plenty of attention. You will create a hand-printed edition of either prints or greetings cards. (You can choose on the day). The day is suitable for beginners or those with some previous experience of linocut printmaking.
My workshop has been rated EXCELLENT and has received the Gold Student's Choice Award on the Craft Courses website.
Day Workshop: £75pp to include all tuition, materials, light lunch and an afternoon tea/coffee and cake. Please advise of any special dietary requirements. I will e-mail you once your booking is received to confirm times, details of what you will need to bring with you and also the example menu for lunch.
Times: Arrive from 9.00am for morning tea/coffee and ready for a 9.30am start, your day will finish at approximately 4.30pm.

Until full payment is received all bookings are considered provisional and we reserve the right to cancel a booking.
Workshops are filled on a first come first served basis and your payment secures your place, apologies but I cannot reserve workshop spaces.
Cancellations / Changes / Refunds
If it becomes necessary to cancel your booking, please inform me (Alix Almond) by email as soon as possible. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Day Workshops cancelled at any time after being booked will result in no refund unless we are able to refill your place.
In the unlikely event of Alix having to cancel a course an alternative date will be offered or all monies will be refunded. Your payment will be refunded to you (or an alternative date offered) if the workshop is unable to take place due to COVID restrictions.
If you are unable to attend your place due to a COVID related illness then you can re-arrange your booking or receive a refund.
Amendments / Transfers
No reductions or refunds can be made in respect of late arrival, early departure or absence during any part of your booking. Your place may be transferred to another person once you have made your payment to me. Please e-mail me to advise of name changes or if you are paying for another person to attend. This can also be added in the 'notes' section on the order.
Alix Almond does not offer customers insurance, and strongly recommends that customers consider taking out their own insurance to cover any cancellation costs.
Alix Almond cannot take responsibility for loss or damage to guests’ personal belongings.
Please ensure you advise Alix Almond of any dietary conditions you may have. Please note that the use of nuts, diary, gluten etc feature in afternoon treats and biscuits.
Please be aware that you will be using sharp implements on this course, and will be exposed to printing ink - this is a water based ink, and Japanese Vinyl. Should you suffer from any type of allergy to the materials used, Alix strongly advises you to undertake research to ascertain your suitability for this activity, ultimately your participation will be at your own risk. A full list of materials used at the workshop can be made available to you if necessary.
A minimum age of 12 is applied to children who must be accompanied by an adult at all times. This is due to the use of sharp tools. All responsibility lies with the parent. Due to the size of the workshop space the adult will also need to be participating in the workshop.
