Dodo - Limited Varied Edition Two Layer Linocut
Dodo is a Varied Edition, which means that although the same two print blocks are used to create the finished print (the two layers are printed on top of each other) that the edition can contain varied colours.
Currently Dodo is available in grey, pink/red and blue, as can be seen above. However, should you wish to have a dodo in a different colour, please get in touch as the print run is not yet complete!
Dodo is a limited print run of 30 prints. It is printed onto A3 160gsm paper. All prints are numbered and initialed.
Each print is hand printed using my trusty spoon.
The framed images above are from the 'Fairy Tale and Fantasy' exhibition at the Slate Art Gallery in Leamington Spa. I've also added the original drawing I did on which the dodo print is based.
You can read more about the process and see images from the printing of this linocut by clicking here: #projectdodo
Due to the nature of printmaking, each dodo print may differ slightly from the ones shown in the pictures above.
Framed : £275 Unframed: £200
All framed prints are professionally framed to Fine Art Trade Guild conservation standard.
