It might have been a while since I've blogged, but I've still been up to bits and bobs; it's nearly half way through January already, it's taken me far longer than it should have done to get myself into gear to share my newest prints and pictures! Happy New-ish Year!!

I had a mad flurry of activity where I did the duck and Boris the bulldog in two days just before Christmas. It was great just to be immersed in drawing and gouging and printing :-)

Boris the Bulldog - which I called 'Waiting...' is a strictly limited print of two given for Christmas gifts; print one is owned by Boris' human parents (my brother and sister in law) and print two is hanging on my parents' wall (Boris' grandparents ;-)) in their sitting/dining room :-) I *may* have an artist's proof in my file though. ;-)

Heron (hiding at the bottom of the page) was a just-after-new-year-back-to-school-project to have some down time during the evening. It's been lovely to draw again, and I enjoyed using a mix of my pens and lovely new pencil crayons. Now I have to practise and be brave with trying the 'water' aspect of the crayons! (they are water soluble).

Christmas and New Year were marvellous. A Christmas with the family and a New Year squirrelled away in Chapel Stile with the hubby and the dogs in a lovely cosy cottage. I've got a couple of ideas from the time away that I'd like to try, I may try a landscape and a reduction lino print over the coming weekends and see what I can manage with the materials and printing stuff I have - I am starting a mini-wishlist of the next bits and bobs I would like to purchase.

The next post hopefully won't be as long to wait for ;-)
