Hello folks, It’s taken a while to get time to sit down and get a quick New Year blog written!! I don’t think it’s too late to wish you all a Happy New Year is it? We are still in the first half of the month…. (just!) 2019 was a fabulous year – I started teaching more workshops – hello to you if you joined me on one of them – and took part in more fairs and events than previously – so many highlights too! From being part of the Coventry Open exhibition at the Herbert Art Gallery to taking part in Warwickshire Open Studios at ‘The Sheep Dip’, being part of Discover, Gather, Give in Stratford to running workshops in Stratford and Kenilworth – so many adventures! The run up to Christmas was very busy travelling around to different places, and it has been a pleasure to meet so many people through my workshops and at art fairs – meeting both other artists and customers. Thank you all so much for your support! I was also incredibly proud to receive my Gold award on Craft Courses as a recognition of the excellent reviews I have had for my workshops - thank you! 2020 is looking busy already! I’ll be popping a list of workshops below, but I’ve already got workshops fully booked at Bonds in January and February, and then workshops booked in up until May. Plus, I will be starting workshops at a new venue near Stratford too – The Makers’ Space @ Sew Me Something – which is super exciting as they have a brand new workshop set up….. including teaching a full weekend course too! So far the only other date to pop in the diary is for Warwickshire Open Studios which is taking place from 20th June to the 5th July. This year is also Warwickshire Open Studios’ 20th year!
